Thanksgiving is easily one of my favorite holidays, who doesn’t love copious amounts of home cooked foods and family time. And as we’ve discussed before, a little cheat meal every now and then is good for your soul.
But one of the struggles that we run into regularly on thanksgiving is eating. From eating too much at the actual meal to not eating enough or “saving room” for the rest of the day to fully enjoy the main course.
The truth of the matter is you should absolutely eat a breakfast in the morning the day of. Eating in the morning jumps starts your metabolism, and not breaking the fast until the afternoon may actually lead to binging later on (read: 4 servings of mashed potatoes and gravy).
Just like in a normal workout, your body needs a warm up. So warm up your stomach on the big day to get your body ready for Turkey Tabatas! 😉
